I just got a HDTV and I don’t have satellite or cable. I’m just using a indoor power antenna with it to receive over the air broadcasts. I’m receiving both the analog and digital channels, but the the audio coming out from the digital version of each channel seems much lower. I’m not an expert and wanted to know what is causing this and how can I increase the audio output from my digital channels. Do I need a special or better antenna? I appreciate any helpful suggestions.

check the audio setup on your tv
it is possibly that you cannot switch the digital input off, so even you switched to analog, you hear the sum of both inputs
me neither, not an expert

you may need a better antena but the thing probably is that you need to get a better cord connecting the entena to the tv, it happened to me once

because is being broadcast at a different signal which is better for less static and cleaner sound.the sound is better becaues is dolby digital for sorround sound on your reciver or tv.
