I am looking at computers ans would like some advice on from people that streem HDTV from the net. I have heard that HDTV can be had from the net for free, less the provider. Can you get a true 1080p display? How good is the picture? Is the sound as good or better than cable? What channels are out their? Is their a web site I can go to?
As you can see I am new to this. Can you help?

One Response to “Who Makes The Best Computer To Streem Hdtv From The Net?”

  1. TV guy Says:

HDTV streaming is more constrained by the bandwidth you have to your home rather than processing power.
A True 1080p video, at BD quality is almost 20 Mbits/s. The average DSL line is 1.6 Mbit/s, so unless you have fiber to your home, don’t expect any true HD.
