I have Time Warner Cable. It is Digital but I do not have an HD box and I’m not getting one either. I have been reviewing the Sony KDL M4000 and the Samsung 450. Thing is that I’m not sure if these Tv’s handle standard def viewing well because the show rooms have them set to an HD channel feed. Anyone know about this?

Every HDTV will not show a clear Digital Cable signal. If your gonna buy a HDTV then u have to get a HD cable box or there is not point in buyin a HDTV unless u was gonna watch Blue-ray movies or play Xbox 360 or PS3. A regular TV will show a better digital cable signal then a HDTV.
