The TV is a Toshiba 32HL57. http://www.toshiba.ca/web/product.grp?lg=en&section=2&group=521&product=7114&category=
It has been on the lowest brightness since the day it was purchased. However it has been seeing daily use for approximately 8 hours a day for almost 2 years. It is hooked up to a VGA cable to my computer.
What do you think would be an acceptable asking price if i were to sell it?

Because there’s no kind of life meter on it to prove how much wear and tear its seen, its hard to expect much for it. People are buying a used TV, so are expecting wear and tear, but then want a good deal on that. So something you have to live with now selling it. A brand new 32″ Toshiba rates in about the $650 range (the 32CV510 Regza). That’s a solid TV. So a used one, I think you could go in the $150-$200 range. Maybe push for $300 or $350, but be prepared to come down.

With electronics, divide the price you paid in half for every year you’ve owned it. After 2 years, your TV is only worth about a quarter of what you paid for it.
