Between the two the Toshiba is a much better tv. Vizio is a cheap brand and made in China, they also have a none responsive customer service center if you have any problems you want answers for. If you can look at the Panasonic or Samsung they are a bit better. Hope this will help you out.

Vizio doesn’t have the greatest reliability rating in the marketplace. I would go with the Toshiba, other specs. being about equal.
