  1. Tenerife Car Rental Says:

Assuming your 32″ LCD TV is widescreen (16:9), it will most likely ‘letterbox’ the movie (i.e. insert black bars left and right) to centre the 4:3 image on the screen.

  2. link Says:

It should look great on an HD screen of that size. However, it will have black bars on the left and right, sometimes called “pillar-box”.
Because of the 16:9 aspect ratio of your 32″ HDTV, it will be sized the same as when displayed on a 26″ 4:3 TV, but with the higher resolution of your set (presumably 720p) it should look much better.

  3. RichB Says:

Assuming it’s a widescreen TV (are there any 32″ LCDs that aren’t?) there’ll be black bars either side of the picture, unless you choose to stretch or crop the image using one of the TV’s other display modes.
Stretching/cropping looks awful, though - best to just watch the DVD with black bars either side, as nature intended.

  4. executio Says:

You CAN set your TV to 4:3 you know - the picture will simply fit the full screen with NO black bars top or bottom. It`ll just be like watching a TV programme that`s not in widescreen.

  5. giggityg Says:

it will be just like any other dvd that is not widescreen. It will be square.
