We hooked a HDMI cable from my PC to my HDTV. When I run a music video in full screen, I hear sound but the screen freezes. Is there something I need to do to fix this? My graphics card is a good one, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295 and the HDMI cable is 50 feet. What can I do?

50 feet is WAY too long for HDMI.
HDMI starts getting signal degradation after a 15-foot run. Either move your computer closer and use a 15-ft. cable, or buy some signal boosters (which aren’t cheap).

There r various types of cables manufactured for serving larger distances. If u don’t want to put extra burden on urself (advisable dont buy a new one) and if u r interested in giving a try, u better ask the dealer from whom u bought
